The Sanctuary of Surrealism is a space of otherwise, other ways of knowing, being and doing. A place where dream and waking worlds dance.

This germinating project aims to give tools and possibilities to liberate consciousness , to create a world where everyone is a poet, beyond the coloniality, beyond Capitalist realism, to that of Surrealist Realism…where wildest dreams come into being, where all beings flourish in unrestrained splendour.

Surrealism, which was born as a poetic response to the First World War – along with the primacy of reason that justified it – has developed extensive and deep epistemology that allows practitioners to lessen or completely remove contradictions between high and low, communicable and incommunicable, and ultimately between real and the vastest reaches of people’s imagination, building worlds and ways of being not yet known.
